The Wandering Pencil
with David Reames

In this supportive drawing class, you'll learn to sketch what you see and what you imagine. We'll explore the basics of line, shading, and form using pencil and charcoal—and you'll even learn the grid method to create drawings that look incredibly real (no tracing needed!). This is a class for people who think they can't draw. You'll leave feeling like an artist. If you are more experienced, we will challenge and encourage you to explore new horizons in technique and approach.
This course gently guides students from sketchbook anxiety to artistic self-assurance.
