Our Classes
Friday Paint and Sip
with Laurie Neal

No experience necessary, just be ready to laugh, paint and maybe share a few mimosas. Whether you are just getting your feet wet or an experienced painter, come and spend your Sunday afternoon at the Reeves House.
Bring your friends and we’ll provide the canvases, paints, and paintbrushes as we guide you through creating your own masterpiece. There’s sure to be lots of giggles and a few Monets in the making.
And to add to the fun, we're offering an option to add bottomless mimosas to complement your painting experience! Registration is $35 per person (includes all materials and instruction) as well as an optional $12 add-on for bottomless mimosas, a discounted rate for participants.
Play with Clay Day
with Lynn Lake

A one-hour workshop focused on getting families to create together. Kids 5+ and their parents can sign up to create with clay at the Kish Center. All supplies will be provided with the registration fee.

Bow Making 101
with Candice Carden-Chambers

Learn how to make beautiful bows by hand and using a bow maker tool. You will make a 1 ribbon bow, 2 ribbon bow, 3 ribbon bow, and a 4 ribbon bow. You will also learn how to add to candle holder, lantern, and how to apply ribbon to your Christmas tree!

Drawing Basics
with Allison Frink

If you’ve always wanted to learn to draw, but aren’t sure where to start, this class is for you! We’ll cover basic perspective, value (shading), people and animals, and how to get your eyes and hands working together. Supplies included.

Intermediate Drawing
with Allison Frink

This drawing class is for artists who have some experience, but want to keep developing their skills in form, value, and composition. (If you’ve taken Drawing Basics, this is the next class.) We’ll mainly work in graphite and charcoal, so bring a sketchbook and your favorite supplies to class.

Off the Page
with Jetta Whitehurst

Ages: 5 - 8
Take stories off the page and bring them to life! From classic authors like Dr. Seuss and Roald Dahl, to new-age favorites like Dog Man, elementary literature will be used as a starting point for creative engagement as young artists use a variety of materials and techniques each week to create a book-inspired project. In Off the Page, artists will draw, color, and paint to explore authors, characters, and ideas in a setting where discussion and collaboration are encouraged. All young artists are welcome, especially those who have a passion for reading!

Claypalooza
with Allison Frink

Ages: 8 - 12
Each week we’ll make a different clay sculptures project using handbuilding techniques. Once our pieces are dried and fired, we’ll add color with glazes. We’re going to get messy, so wear play clothes and tie back long hair if you have it!
There will be no class held on Labor Day (Sep 1st)
