Our Classes
Improv: Fundamentals
with Robert Mitchell
Looking for something fun to do with others? Check out this introductory improv class. Whether you want to perform or just try something new, this class is for you! You’ll learn lessons of acceptance, confident vulnerability, and collaboration while learning the basic structures and games in improv comedy! And when you finish, you just might become a better partner, parent, co-worker, friend, or, well...person!
This class ends with a graduation show, date and time TBD.
No previous experience is necessary to take this class.
Nights with Clay
with Heather Stevens
This eight week hand building class is a great way to pause mid week and do something for yourself! Students will explore a range of hand building techniques though if your creativity is taking your projects in another direction, create what your heart desires. With your class registration, you have access to the studio an additional two hours per week during Open Studio so the fun can continue (or so you can make up a missed class). Enjoy your Wednesday nights doing something you love-come join the clay community at the Kish Center!

Teen Improv
with Cole Kiker
Ages: 14 - 17
Want to create characters and skits off the top of your head? Want to be ready the next time someone forgets a line on stage? Want to have fun playing silly games with friends? If you answered "yes and..." to any of the above questions, Youth Improv is the right class for you! Over the course of the program, you will learn the rules of improvisational acting and the fun behind improv games.
All skill levels are welcome!
Students will showcase selections of their classwork as a part of our Collage Day event on Saturday, November 21st. 2 tickets to this event are included in class registration.
Class space is limited.

This 8 week guided advanced course is designed for students that are looking to dive deeper in their ceramic knowledge. Wherever your creativity leads you, there is something for everyone in this class. Whether you want to create large-scale work, make a teapot, or try something you have never tried before, instructor-led demonstrations will explore these projects and more! Prior experience required. Aprons are highly recommended.

Drama Detectives
with Charlie Rosenburg
Ages: 8 - 11
You’re on the case! In this class, students will put their detective skills to the test! Accept secret missions, break codes, perfect escape techniques, and create your own agent character as you become the best detectives in the biz. Returning Agents welcome and encouraged!
This class is part of our Creative Drama series, which develops theatre skills in an accessible way through theatre games, exercises, and creative exploration. It is a process based curriculum, with lots of freedom to create the stories and characters that most ignite and excite the imaginations of young actors. In Secret Agents, students will focus on CHARACTER CREATION and COLLABORATION.
Creative Drama:
- Builds empathy, teamwork, and confidence.
- Encourages focus and creative problem solving.
- Shows that theatre skills are life skills - Courage, Collaboration, and Compassion!
