This class is for those with some experience with watercolor. The reference material will be photographs of "Fall Color." Autumn Whispers in the Hollow
with David Reames

Watercolor with a Spooky Twist Brew up something a little eerie and a little enchanted in this autumn-themed watercolor class for beginners! With guidance and encouragement every step of the way, you’ll learn how to build your own spooky-fun composition—from first sketch to final brushstroke.
We’ll explore how to use watercolor to create mood and mystery: foggy skies, glowing windows, crooked fences, twisted trees, and maybe a suspicious-looking scarecrow. Or a haunted owl. Or just straight up paint some monsters! You'll learn to balance color, light, and texture to bring your haunted (or hilarious) scene to life
. Supplies and Autumn Vibes Provided.
The Wandering Pencil
with David Reames

In this supportive drawing class, you'll learn to sketch what you see and what you imagine. We'll explore the basics of line, shading, and form using pencil and charcoal—and you'll even learn the grid method to create drawings that look incredibly real (no tracing needed!). This is a class for people who think they can't draw. You'll leave feeling like an artist. If you are more experienced, we will challenge and encourage you to explore new horizons in technique and approach.
This course gently guides students from sketchbook anxiety to artistic self-assurance. Through life drawing, figurative illustration, imaginative exploration, and structured photo reference work, students will learn to draw with joy, accuracy, and style. The grid method offers a framework for realism, while creative prompts invite personal expression.
