No experience necessary for this supportive, encouraging, and fun course. This course builds confidence and introduces foundational techniques such as value, color mixing, composition, and atmospheric perspective. You’ll learn how to block in shapes, build light and shadow, brush and palette knife techniques, and add personal flourishes—all while working on one cohesive painting from start to finish. Along the way, we’ll explore how subtle choices in color, texture, and light can turn a simple scene into a story.
