Start with the pieces. Leave with a puppet!

In this hands-on workshop for makers ages 16 and up, each participant will build their own Boopos Blank puppet with instruction from Sam Carter.

You'll choose your puppet's head shape before the workshop and then learn how its components come together to create an articulated character ready to move, gesture, pose, and develop a personality of its own.

Whether you're interested in puppetry, character design, fabrication, performance—or simply want to spend a few hours making something wonderfully unusual—no previous puppet-building experience is necessary.

This workshop is for individual builders rather than pairs, and every registered participant builds and leaves with their own puppet.

The workshop fee includes one Boopos Blank puppet, all necessary building materials and components, and hands-on instruction from Sam Carter.
