in Visual Arts Class
Off the Page
with Jetta Whitehurst

Ages: 5 - 8
Take stories off the page and bring them to life! From classic authors like Dr. Seuss and Roald Dahl, to new-age favorites like Dog Man, elementary literature will be used as a starting point for creative engagement as young artists use a variety of materials and techniques each week to create a book-inspired project. In Off the Page, artists will draw, color, and paint to explore authors, characters, and ideas in a setting where discussion and collaboration are encouraged. All young artists are welcome, especially those who have a passion for reading!
