We’ll spend most of our time on the pottery wheel, learning the basics of throwing, trimming, and shaping forms. Along the way, we’ll also explore hand building techniques to add details, experiment with new ideas, and personalize your work. Come ready to learn, relax, and enjoy a creative morning in the studio.

Join us for a 6-week pottery journey at the wheel, perfect for both beginners and experienced potters. Each session includes teacher-led projects to build skills and confidence, along with the freedom to explore your own ideas and create pieces that are uniquely yours.

This is a welcoming, supportive space where everyone belongs, whether it’s your first time touching clay or you’re returning to the wheel. Come ready to get your hands dirty, embrace the learning process (failures included!), and discover the joy of creating something beautiful from start to finish.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting muddy and bring all of your creative ideas!

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $112.50, paid weekly.

June Play with Clay Day

A one-hour workshop focused on getting families to create together. Kids 5+ and their parents can sign up to create with clay at the Kish Center. All supplies will be provided with the registration fee.

Parents/Guardians must register and attend with any children under 14.
