Explore the world of mixed media by indulging in various art-making methods! During this course, students will use found art, cyanotype (weather permitting), gelli plates, textiles, and more! Whether you want to experience a relaxing morning of art-making or experience something new, this class will encourage you to fuel your creative spirit! There is no class September 18th.

Required supplies: Mixed media paper pad (9x12 or larger)

Optional supplies: Corrugated cardboard Thin cardboard (cereal box) Bubble wrap Fabric scraps (lace, doilies) Stencils

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $62.50, paid weekly.

Start your weekend with clay! This laid-back Saturday morning ceramics class is perfect for beginners and intermediate students who want to get their hands dirty in a fun, low-pressure environment. We’ll spend most of our time on the pottery wheel, learning the basics of throwing, trimming, and shaping forms. Along the way, we’ll also explore hand building techniques to add details, experiment with new ideas, and personalize your work. Come ready to learn, relax, and enjoy a creative morning in the studio.

Fall 1 Senior Drama Club

Ages: 11 - 15

Learn the tools every actor uses to create memorable characters and build a great story! In this class, students will work together to learn how to use their bodies, voices, and imaginations in order to inhabit different characters, make bold choices, and build a strong ensemble on stage. Students will also collaborate to create their own script bursting with creativity and ideas from their own imaginations, which they will perform at Collage day. 

Students will showcase selections of their classwork as a part of our Collage Day on Saturday, September 19th. 2 tickets to this event are included in class registration.

This class is part of our Acting Pathway, which develops theatre skills through acting techniques, storytelling, and collaboration. In Junior Drama Club, students will focus on scene work and ensemble building.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $75.00, paid weekly.

Middle School Acting

Calling all middle school actors who are ready to take their training to the next level! In this class, students will learn acting techniques, delve into scene work, and practice monologues. Participation in this class is sure to help any young actor with upcoming auditions and productions, allowing them to feel confident and prepared for any theatrical venture ahead of them. 

Students will showcase selections of their classwork as a part of our Collage Day on Saturday, September 19th. 2 tickets to this event are included in class registration.

This class is part of our Acting Pathway, which develops theatre skills through acting techniques, storytelling, and collaboration. In The Middle School Acting, students will focus on scene work and monologues.

Teen Improv (Ages 13-17)

Ready for an energetic, fun way to learn improv? Over the course of the program teens will learn and continue to improve their understanding of the rules of improv acting and the fun behind improv games.

Teen Drawing

Ages: 12 - 17

This class helps young artists improve their skills, try new techniques, and develop their creative voice. We’ll use both realistic and illustrative styles for a variety of class exercises, and students will get plenty of individual guidance on projects that they’re passionate about. (All skill levels and interests are welcome! Whether you’re interested in photo-realistic drawings or making webcomics, I’m happy to fuel your creative journey.)

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 1 payment of $90.00, paid every two weeks.

Triple Threats (Ages 12-16)

Ages: 12 - 16

Take your musical theatre training to the next level in this triple threat class! Students will work on musical theatre repertoire and choreography, strengthen their vocal skills, and hone their acting abilities. In addition to ensemble based performing, students will also delve into solo and monologue work, preparing them for auditions and shows in their future! 

Students will showcase selections of their classwork as a part of our Collage Day on Saturday, September 19th. 2 tickets to this event are included in class registration.

This class is part of our Musical Theatre Pathway, which develops theatre skills through ensemble work, storytelling, music, and dance. In Triple Threats, students will focus on acting through song, vocal technique, and choreography!

Walking and Weaving: Portraits of a Place and Time

Weave a portrait of your walk!

Join Amanda in a walk around Woodstock- noticing, collecting, and weaving together things that have been discarded or left behind. You’ll learn the basics of weaving on a frame loom, and apply those skills using non-traditional found materials. This workshop is an invitation to reconsider your surroundings, and engage with familiar environments in a materially focused way.

No weaving experience needed. Ages 14 and up
