Students will experiment with fun techniques like salt effects, splatter, lifting, and resist while learning how water and pigment interact. This process-based class encourages curiosity, creativity, and freedom from perfection—perfect for artists who love to explore, play, and see what happens when they let go and paint! 

For ages 13+

For all ages! 

Learn how to mix vibrant, harmonious watercolor colors while avoiding muddy washes. Students will explore color theory basics, practice mixing from a limited palette, and discover how water control affects color intensity and transparency. This class is a great skill-builder for all levels and helps artists gain confidence in creating clean, expressive color combinations.Feel free to bring any watercolor materials you may already have, not required. 

For ages 16+

A one-hour workshop focused on getting families to create together. Kids 5+ and their parents can sign up to create with clay at the Kish Center. All supplies will be provided with the registration fee.

Parents/Guardians must register and attend with any children under 14.
