Wound Workshop
with Harmony Reid

Get ready to take your spooky season to the next level! Join Visual Art Education Manager Harmony Reid—who brings over a decade of experience as a makeup artist for walk-through haunted houses—for a hands-on workshop in creating realistic special effects makeup. Learn to craft bruises, scars, cuts, and wounds that look eerily authentic, perfect for Halloween costumes, cosplay, or stage performances.
This allergen-friendly workshop uses gelatin-based products instead of latex for a safer experience. Please bring a light shade of your own foundation to match your skin tone; all other supplies will be provided. Each participant will also receive a bruise wheel to take home and keep experimenting. Scheduled just in time for Halloween—and before a performance of Dracula—you’ll leave ready to attend the show in your bloody glory! Recommended for ages 13 through adult.
