Sketchstock: A Walking & Drawing Workshop in Woodstock

Join us for an evening of observation, movement, and mark-making as we explore the charm of downtown Woodstock through sketching. This guided workshop blends light walking with focused drawing exercises, helping participants see more clearly and translate what they observe onto the page. We’ll touch on the fundamentals of value, proportion, and perspective while working from life in a relaxed, supportive environment. All skill levels are welcome—whether you’re new to drawing or looking to deepen your practice.
Materials to Bring:
Participants should bring a sketchbook, pencils or charcoal, a sharpener, and a kneaded eraser.

Adaptive and Accessible Improv
with Joe Lemmo
Using the tools of improv, instructor Joe Lemmo along with WIT (Woodstock Arts Improv Troupe), are offering a workshop for adults of all neurotypes to gain confidence, build regulation skills, enhance creativity, reduce anxiety, and improve communication skills. In each workshop, the instructor and troupe members will guide students through improv games and exercises in a supportive, low-pressure environment where they are encouraged to try new things, brush off mistakes, and make discoveries.
This workshop is open to all skill levels and recommended for individuals who are comfortable and/or interested working with all neurodiversities and providing a supportive environment for everyone!

June Paint and Sip
with Laurie Neal
No experience necessary, just be ready to laugh, paint, and maybe share a few mimosas. Whether you are just getting your feet wet or an experienced painter, come and spend your Friday Evening at the Reeves House!
Bring your friends and we’ll provide the canvases, paints, and paintbrushes as we guide you through creating your own masterpiece. There’s sure to be lots of giggles and a few Monets in the making.
And to add to the fun, make sure to grab a glass of wine at the counter to enjoy while painting!
June Play with Clay Day

A one-hour workshop focused on getting families to create together. Kids 5+ and their parents can sign up to create with clay at the Kish Center. All supplies will be provided with the registration fee.
Parents/Guardians must register and attend with any children under 14.
