Clay Community-9am

$250

with Heather Stevens

Calendar Jan 16, 2026 at 9 am, runs for 8 weeks

This eight week hand building class is a great way to spend your Friday mornings! Students will design a creative piece using a combination of sgraffito and layered underglaze , build a set of bellied cups and glaze using the wheel, and create a working clock. Of course, if your creativity is taking your projects in another direction, create what your heart desires. With your class registration, you have access to the studio an additional two hours per week during Open Studio so the fun can continue (or so you can make up a missed class). Enjoy your Friday mornings doing something you love-come join the clay community at the Kish Center!

There will be no class on Feb 20th

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 4 payments of $50.00, paid every two weeks.

Calendar Jan 17, 2026 at 9:30 am, runs for 7 weeks

Winter is here! Grab a hot cocoa and head to the Kish Pottery center on Saturday mornings to experience all the fun and creativity that ceramics has to offer! This potter's wheel-based class is great for those who have never touched clay and want to try their hand at throwing functional ceramics! I'm also more than happy to assist intermediate students in creating more challenging and complex forms on the wheel. Whatever your skill level is, you'll be sure to walk away with some of handcrafted pottery!
