Looking to be a better storyteller in your improv scenes? Want to create scenes with a clear beginning, middle, and end? This is the class for you! In this class, you will learn how to independently and collaboratively build stories/scenes with action, characters, emotion, understandable story line, and a clear resolution. This class will not only focus on narrative games but also strengthen your ability to establish premise-based scenes. To get the most out of this class, it is recommended that you have taken Fundamentals of Improv or have previous improv experience. This class ends with a graduation show, date and time TBD.

Take a journey through the fairy tale forest…with a twist! In this class, students will use their imaginations to put their own spin on classic fairy tale characters and stories. Will the giant come down the beanstalk to meet the big bad wolf? Will Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks meet in the woods? There’s only one way to find out! This class is part of our NEW Creative Drama series, which develops theatre skills in an accessible way through theatre games, exercises, and creative exploration. It is a process based curriculum, with lots of freedom to create the stories and characters that most ignite and excite the imaginations of young actors. In Code Breakers, students will focus on STORYTELLING and WORLD BUILDING.
