Plates & Platters on the Wheel

In this 6-week course, students will explore techniques behind wheel-thrown plates and platters. From saucers to serving platters, you will gain the skills and confidence needed to create functional, beautiful pieces for everyday use or display. This course will cover the basics of the wheel-throwing process, with a strong focus on form, texture, and surface treatment for your finished pieces. By the end of the course, students will have created a set of plates and platters. This course is perfect for those just beginning their wheel journey or trying to expand their skill set on the potters wheel.

Bring your family to life in art! In this workshop, you’ll create a textured, dimensional mixed media artwork using canvas, painted paper, cardboard, and more. We’ll start by building layers and texture on the canvas, then design a tree and add a one-of-a-kind owl to represent each member of your family. A fun and meaningful project for all ages!

Young Artists Holiday Art

Ages: 8 - 11
Celebrate the holidays with art, color, and creativity!” In this fun and festive art class, kids will explore painting, collage, and mixed media while making holiday-inspired projects. From gratitude-themed crafts to wintery decorations, students will learn new techniques while expressing their imagination. Each week introduces a new theme—like gratitude trees, colorful pumpkins, and themes of joy and light. Young artists will learn new techniques and bring home artwork to share and display. This class encourages imagination, builds confidence, and gives kids a joyful way to connect with the holidays through art! Dress for a mess.

Cozy Critters

“Even Animals Love Sweater Weather!!” What happens when your favorite animals dress up in sweaters? Pure cuteness! In this art class, kids will bring cozy critters to life—painting bears in stripes, owls in polka dots, cats in fuzzy knits, and more. With bright colors, fun patterns, and lots of imagination, every child will create artwork that’s as warm and wonderful as a sweater itself. We will paint, draw, collage and more to make our Cozy Critter Creations.
November Canvas Club

Join us for a kids paint-a-long at the Reeves House creativity as we guide you step by step to create a 10x8 canvas using acrylic paints on a 10x8 canvas.
All supplies are included, so just bring your imagination—and remember to dress for a mess, as we'll be using acrylics!
