$195

with David Reames

Calendar Mar 18, 2026 at 4 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Luminous Landscapes: Painting Light and Shadow in Watercolor

Embrace the luminous quality of painting landscapes in watercolor. In this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn to paint verdant woods, lonely trees, quiet lakes, and glowing twilight skies—capturing the calm and subtle color shifts that make the springtime so magical. Step by step, we’ll explore essential watercolor techniques including washes, layering, texture effects, and brush control, while focusing on the unique light and atmosphere of springtime scenes.

Each week builds confidence through guided projects and demonstrations, with plenty of room for personal expression. You’ll discover how to paint blooming trees, shadows that feel crisp, and skies that seem to glow from within. By the end of the session, you’ll have a small portfolio of landscapes—and the confidence to keep painting as the seasons change.

There will be no class on April 8th.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $72.50, paid weekly.
