Improv: Storytelling and Narration

Looking to be a better storyteller in your improv scenes? Want to create scenes with aclear beginning, middle, and end? This is the class for you! In this class, you will learn how to independently and collaboratively build stories/scenes with action, characters, emotion, understandable story line, and a clear resolution. This class will not only focus on narrative games but also strengthen your ability to establish premise-based scenes.
To get the most out of this class, it is recommended that you have taken Fundamentals of Improv or have previous improv experience.
This class ends with a graduation show on Friday, March 6th.

Improv: Physical Comedy
with Cody Andrus
In this 6 week class you will learn how to be a more physical improviser. Each class will focus on the elements of improvisation that lead to physicality! Stuck standing around talking in your scenes...then this is the class for you!
To get the most out of this class, it is recommended that you have taken Fundamentals of Improv or have previous improv experience.
This class ends with a graduation show on Friday, March 6th.

Youth Improv
with Joe Lemmo
Ages: 10 - 12
Want to create characters and skits off the top of your head? Want to be ready the next time someone forgets a line on stage? Want to have fun playing silly games with friends? If you answered "yes and..." to any of the above questions, Youth Improv is the right class for you! Over the course of the program, you will learn the rules of improvisational acting and the fun behind improv games.
All skill levels are welcome!
Students will showcase selections of their classwork as a part of our Collage Day event on Saturday, February 14th. 2 tickets to this event are included in class registration.
Class space is limited.

Teen Improv
with Joe Lemmo
Ages: 13 - 18
Ready for an energetic, fun way to learn improv? Over the course of the program teens will learn and continue to improve their understanding of the rules of improv acting and the fun behind improv games.
All skill levels are welcome!

Looking for something fun to do with others? Check out this introductory improv class. Whether you want to perform or just try something new, this class is for you! You’ll learn lessons of acceptance, confident vulnerability, and collaboration while learning the basic structures and games in improv comedy! And when you finish, you just might become a better partner, parent, co-worker, friend, or, well...person!
This class ends with a graduation show on Friday, March 6th.
No previous experience is necessary to take this class.
