A one-hour workshop focused on getting families to create together. Kids 5+ and their parents can sign up to create with clay at the Kish Center. All supplies will be provided with the registration fee.

Parents/Guardians must register and attend with any children under 14.

This class is for those with some experience with watercolor. The focus will be on mapping out where the paper will serve as the white of snow, and have fun creating vibrant winter paintings. Participants will have two finished pieces and gain more confidence with the medium. 

Supplies List: 

Palette - any style, white, plastic with enough room to mix colors Mason jar, or something to hold water

Paint: A grumbacher watercolor paint set will work

If you want to invest in tubes of paint, a suggested basic palette of colors: • Cool Red – Permanent Alizarin Crimson • Warm Red – Cadmium Red Light, Light Red or Vermillion • Cool Blue: Cobalt Blue • Warm Blue: Thalo Blue or Prussian Blue • Warm Yellow: Yellow Ochre or Raw Sienna • Cool Yellow: Light Yellow • Warm Green: Gold Green or Sap Green • Cool Green: Veridian Green or Emerald Green • Earths: Sepia, or Burnt Sienna • Payne's grey

At least 10 sheets of watercolor paper: 9x12, can be hot press or cold press, can be in a tablet or a block. Some examples are Canson 9x12 Portrait, Wirebound or Watercolor pad; Arches 9x12 watercolor block, 140 lb.

Learn how to make a beautiful Valentine's Day inspired wreath by hand! At the end of class you will leave with a wreath you can use to decorate your home for the holiday!

Celebrate the season with a burst of color and creativity! In this one hour class, young artists will design their own 3D winter birds using paint, cardboard, and fabric. We'll explore texture, layering, and mixed media techniques to bring these cozy friends to life. Each student will create a unique winter birds artwork full of charm and personality! 

This class is for ALL AGES - it's a great opportunity for families to create artwork together! 

Bring your heart to life in 3D! In this one-hour class, young artists will create dimensional heart artwork using cardboard, paint, and mixed media techniques. We’ll explore texture, layering, and color to make hearts that really pop off the page. Each student will leave with a unique, eye-catching heart creation full of personality and charm!

February Break Camp is comprised of students ages 5-8 and is a and unique structure for our camps. There will be no need to choose between Visual Art or Theater camp, because we will do BOTH!

Campers will explore all the Arts Woodstock Arts has to offer. We will draw, paint, and sculpt AND sing, dance, act, and improv with a performance of the Lorax! 

Drop off will be 8:45-9:00 and Pickup will be 4:30. There will a camp showcase at 4:00pm on Friday!

There is a $100 nonrefundable deposit included in the class fee.

Feb Break Camp is comprised of students ages 8-12 and is a unique structure for our camps. There will be no need to choose between Visual Art or Theater camp, because we will do BOTH!

Warm up with creativity! In this one-hour class, young artists will paint a charming bear enjoying a cup of hot cocoa using acrylic paints. We’ll explore color blending, layering, and brush techniques to create a cozy, whimsical painting full of personality. Each student will leave with a finished artwork perfect for winter décor or gifting!

Each registration includes a small Hot Chocolate from the Reeves House!
